Nail Art Catch Up - April 2022

Hello! As discussed in my last post (my swatch catch up for April, post here), I have fallen a bit behind on my catch up posts. I've decided to still write them for the individual months and catch up chronologically. So next in line for today's post is April's nail art catch up. There are a few Easter themed designs here, so I apologise if those seem inappropriate now! Let's jump straight in!

Nail Art Catch Up - April 2022 @acertainbeccaa

First up is a twin mani created with Kirsty of @fairytales for our Twinsie Tuesday series. We opted for a spring mani, created with images from the Clear Jelly Stamper Bunny Kisses plate (CJS H-29). We paired the little bunny with some colourful daffodils, and the Spring Is In The Air wording. The base is Pretty Serious 'Bitsy Boo'.

Next is a super quick Easter Egg inspired pattern. This didn't come out exactly how I'd imagined it in my head, but I still decided to post it anyway. I stamped various lines and chevrons from Clear Jelly Stamper plate Easter 2 (CJS H-07) over KBShimmer crelly 'Blinded By The Bright'.

Next is another Easter Egg design, this time focusing on the actual chocolate itself, along with the sparkly foil wrapper. I used Hollie Mixture 'Sugilite' for my foil, Color Club 'Positively Posh' for my chocolate, and brushed on a small amount of Barry M's silver foil polish for the underside of the foil. I added matte topcoat to the brown to make it look super chocolatey!

Next is, you guessed it, more Easter Eggs! When thinking up ideas for the April Glam Nails Challenge Easter Chicks prompt, I came across this cute little chick and his nest. I ended up using a different chick for my challenge mani, but this one needed it's time to shine too! All images are from Clear Jelly Stamper plate Bunny Kisses (CJS H-29).

Finally moving on from the Easter designs, I went for this super cute bunny with his bunch of balloons from Clear Jelly Stamper plate Life In Bloom (CJS-97). I stamped over a base of Fair Maiden Polish 'Slice of Life', then paired my bunny with images from Clear Jelly Stamper plates Bunny Kisses (CJS H-29) and Springtime Easter (CJS H-28).

Next is another Twinsie Tuesday mani. Both me and Kirsty grabbed a lot of the Color Club sets that recently popped up in TKMaxx stores here in the UK, so we did matching smoosh bases of the shades 'Totally Worth It', 'First Class Sass', and 'Macaroon Swoon'. We then added the super cute layered hedgehog from Clear Jelly Stamper plate Life In Bloom (CJS-97).

Last up for this post is a Frozen themed mani created over a base of Zoya 'Elsa' (I had to!). All of the images I used are from BBF Nails Frozen themed plate BBF 27.

What do you think? As I warned, there are a fair few Easter manis in here! I was also clearly digging the Clear Jelly Stamper plates in April. I had only recently tried the brand, and bought a good amount of Spring and Easter plates in their big UK clearance sale.

Hope to see you in the next post!
Becca x
