Hello lovelies! Today I'm back with another Glam Nails Challenge round up post. If you missed my mani's for March's prompts, you can find that post here. April's challenge had a few good Easter prompts which suited my recently purchased Clear Jelly Stamper plates perfectly - so of course I joined in! Read on for a closer look at my manis for each prompt.

Before I jump in, here's a look at April's prompts.

Glam Nails Challenge - April 2022 @acertainbeccaa |
For flowers, I knew instantly that I wanted to use some of the polishes from Zoya's Spring 2022 Abundance Collection. I reverse stamped a floral pattern from Born Pretty Store plate Pure World L001, colouring the image in using Zoya 'Ellis' and 'Lena'. I used Zoya 'Gwen' as my base.

I also used Zoya 'Lena' for the Easter eggs prompt, but this time as my base colour. I then mixed and matched images from Clear Jelly Stamper plates Hoppy Easter (CJS H-63), Easter 2 (CJS H-07), and Bunny Kisses (CJS H-29). How cute is the little bunny!

The next prompt was Easter bunny. I decided to go for a chocolate bunny, as that's the best kind of Easter bunny - right?! For my pointer and pinky nail, I created a melted chocolate marble effect on a nail art mat (using Color Club 'Positively Polish' and Sally Hansen 'White On') and turned it into decals. I then paired it with images from Clear Jelly Stamper Hoppy Easter plate (CJS H-63).

The last Easter themed prompt was Easter chicks. I went for more cute cartoon Clear Jelly Stamper images from the Hoppy Easter plate (CJS H-63). I stamped the layered images over Cure Nails 'Happiness is Just a Teardrop Away' from the recent Shrek themed UK Indie Box.

For the tea party theme, I went straight to the Delush Polish High N' Mightea stamping plate. I also decided to use a tea inspired polish from the same brand called 'Hello.. Is It Tea You're Looking For?'. I stamped several of the tea party images in a bright pink for some contrast - although it hasn't photographed as clear as it was in person!

I had an idea of what I wanted to do for the butterflies prompt as soon as I saw it, but I couldn't find an image on any of my plates that was quite as big as I'd hoped. I still went with the same design, but just wish the middle butterfly was a bit more striking. I stamped over a base of Hollie Mixture 'Pink Lemonade' using butterflies from MoYou London Mother Nature plate 10.

I've been putting off doing a watermarble for the longest time, so I finally pulled out my watermarble gear for the marble prompt. I decided to see if Color Club cremes marbled nicely, and was super impressed with how easily they spread in the water. The polish names are 'Totally Worth It', 'First Class Sass', 'Wicker Park', and 'Macaroon Swoon' (all four from a set recently purchased in TKMaxx).

The last prompt for April was swirls. I debated doing a swirly marble, but I'd already used a marble effect for two previous prompts. I ended up settling on lollipop swirls instead. I used the lollipop image from Delush Polish's High N' Mightea plate and a few Painted Polish stamping cremes. The base polish is Femme Fatale 'Sugary Sweet Death'.

What do you think? I really enjoyed this months challenge! I feel like I used a good few techniques too, instead of sticking to just simple stamping. I'm not feeling May's prompts quite as much, so I'm going to give the challenge a miss for a month. I've also just had a big Mundo De Unas stamping plate order arrive - so I think I'll get stuck into using a few of those instead! Hope to see you in the next post!
