Hello lovelies! Today I have something a bit different for you. I was recently contacted and asked if The Selfie Bag by Cotton Bag Co. would be something I was interested in. The Selfie Bag is a fun printed canvas bag with a handy little photo kit inside. While this is geared mainly towards taking selfies (which I'm not one for if I'm honest), it is perfect for photographs in general. I have been thinking a bit lately about how to improve my nail photography, so it was definitely something I was interested in having a play with. Read on to see the full contents of The Selfie Bag, and some of my thoughts!

First up, I'll give a quick run down of the contents of the bag. Aswell as the canvas bag itself, you also recieve a bluetooth tripod selfie stick, a pop up light reflector, and a LED ring light. There is also a mini booklet full of tips and tricks to getting that perfect selfie.

Quite possibly the item I am most excited about is the bluetooth tripod selfie stick. As the name suggests, this doubles as both an extendable selfie stick with a bluetooth connectable photo button, and as a tripod. I have already used this as a tripod - it is very sturdy and keeps steady, has an adjustable phone/camera holder, and is just perfect for nail videos and photos!

(Please not that the selfie stick is not fully extended in the photographs below, and extends much further when required.)

Next up is a pop up light reflector, for those times your lighting needs that little extra boost. This comes in it's own little bag, which attaches safely into the canvas bag with it's handy little hook clasp. I've found that this is the perfect size to sit behind my daylight lamp, giving that little bit of extra light for my photographs.

Also included is a small LED ring light that clips easily onto your phone, and has 3 different light settings to suit your needs. I always worry about clippable lights and lenses 'squashing' my phone (anyone else?!), but this feels sturdy enough to stay put without being too intense. I also love that it charges via a USB cable, which is helpfully provided.

Finally, let's not forget about the bag itself. The bag is made of a lovely, high quality canvas material and feels very hardwearing. It is printed with a wonderfully quirky eye print. The bag has a zip across the top which I love, as I'm always self conscious when using an open top bag - they just don't feel quite as secure! Inside the bag are multiple nicely sized pockets for organising your items safely.

What do you think? Is this something you'd use? I love that even though I'm not a selfie person, this kit can be used for a much broader range of photography. It definitely has a lot of helpful things for nail photography, and even videos (I'm looking at you tripod!).
