Valentines Nail Art

Hi all! Happy Valentines Day, Galentines Day, or just plain old Monday. I have been doing a fair amount of Valentines appropriate nail art recently, so thought it would be fun to jump on here for a quick look at them all together. I have 9 manis in total to share with you, so let's jump straight in!

This first one is a bit cheeky, as I have already posted it in my January nail art round up (you can find that post here). That being said, while I didn't create it with Valentines in mind, it's a perfect fit! I created it using B Loves Plates Cosmic Space plate and various MoYou London polishes over China Glaze 'Sapphire Up!'.

Next up, Love-a-Lot Bear! I purchased the MoYou London Care Bear plates a while back, and have slowly been sneaking in a Care Bear mani here and there. I couldn't resist a Valentines theme using Love-a-Lot and the hearts from plate Unlock The Magic 01. The base is China Glaze 'Glistening Pearls'.

For this next one, I went to a very popular plate from back in the days when Maniology was Bundle Monster and watermarbles were everywhere. I stamped my 'fake' heart watermarble with Bundle Monster and Sloteazzy collab plate BM-XL210. I used a range of pink stamping polishes to stamp over Zoya 'Chelsea'.

This next one I really loved, but it was a pain to photograph clearly due to the glare from my lighting. I started off by stamping holographic hearts over Zoya 'Elyse' using Esmaltes Da Kelly 'Roseta' and MoYou London plate Love is 02. I then added some of the various language 'I Love You's from the same plate.

After the holo, I wanted to go with a bit more sparkle! I paired the lips image from Lina Nail Art Supplies plate A Fair To Remember with Barry M 'Ruby Slippers', both over a base of Zoya 'Evan'. I stamped using Painted Polish 'Stamped in Crimson'.

Sticking to the neutral Zoya bases, I created a trolls themed mani over 'Sutton'. All of the images are from MoYou London Trolls plate 06, stamped using a variety of different stamping polishes. I enjoyed making this one really bright and colourful.

Next up, I went for a polish I had been wanting to use for Valentines, Painted Polish 'Jammin' in Jellies'. I love how bright and in your face pink this is. I added a cute punny llama from MoYou London plate Animal 19.

I realised I hadn't yet used a traditional red, so I pulled ORLY 'Red Carpet' out from my swatch pile. I then stamped over the valentines script from Moyou London plate Love is 02 in black, colouring the little hearts in pink. I really loved the subtle glitters from the base peeking through.

This last mani started off as a bit of a nail fail. I created a fan brush base using all of the ORLY Day Trippin' Collection, but it came out completely different than I had imagined. I stuck to it, and stamped the rope hearts from Creative Shop plate 19. It seemed to work out ok in the end - just not as colourful as I had expected!

What do you think? Do you do Valentines nails? I don't usually do more than a mani or two for valentines, but I had so many cute plates and images I wanted to use that I really went for it this year - and it was great fun!
