Nail Art Catch Up - January 2022

Hi all! After my swatch catch up post for the month of January (see that here if you missed it), today I'm back with my nail art catch up. I've been doing a decent amount of nail art recently, so let's just jump straight in!

My first mani for January was, no surprise, New Years nail art. I stamped various images from MoYou London plate Festive 05 over Pretty Serious 'Absence'. I used a few different Esmaltes Da Kelly neon stamping polishes for the fireworks for a pop of bright colour.

Next up, Pooh Bear! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to create Winnie The Pooh nails when swatching Zoya 'Honey' - the perfect polish name and colour! All images are from the Mundo De Unas plate Winnie The Pooh 2.

This next one literally just sums me up in two words, 'always cold'. Who's with me?! You'll always find me in cosy PJs, hoodies, and snuggled up in blankets. I used Whats Up Nails plate B065 for my ring finger, A022 for the snowflakes, and a base of Danglefoot Nail Polish 'Fantabulous'.

This next chunk of manis are all over polishes from the China Glaze Holiday 2021 Jewels Royale Collection, which you can see my swatches of here. I really enjoyed those for nail art.

First up is the gorgeous 'Emerald Magic'. I used MoYou London plate Noel 09 and various MoYou polishes including 'Champagne Rust' and 'Ferocious Bite' to create this pretty deer mani.

Moving onto 'Ruby Riches', here are some cute Happy Feet-esque penguins.  I used images from the same plate, MoYou London Noel 09.

Next up is a quick plaid look using China Glaze 'Spoil Me Royal'. I layered the tartan image from MoYou London Noel plate 05, first in white and then black. I've been loving plaid/tartan manis recently - so simple but so effective!

Next is another mani that speaks to my soul. I absolutely needed the new UberChic Beauty Cozy at Home plate, and this was the first mani I created using some of it's images.

These next couple are using stamping plates from B Loves Plates, as well as carrying on with the China Glaze Jewels Royale polishes. These are my first plates from B Loves, and I'm impressed so far! They are super easy to use.

First up is plate Steampunk Machine. I love the images on this plate, but started off super simply with some of the cog images. I double stamped over China Glaze 'Ice & Bubbles' using various Painted Polish stamping cremes.

These fun little aliens are from the mini B Loves UFO plate. I stamped the the images using Esmaltes Da Kelly neons 'Kaa' and 'Bruce' over China Glaze '24K Noir'. This was much clearer in person than in photographs, but I love the colour combination nonetheless!

The third and final B Loves Plates I used is the Cosmic Space plate. I put together the mani below using various images and MoYou London polishes. The base is China Glaze 'Sapphire Up!'.

Next up is a mani loosely inspired by the Disney Haunted Mansion wallpaper. I stamped two different patterns from UberChic Beauty plate 5-02 over Trend It Up Matte shade '016'.

Finally, the last mani from todays catch up is my birthday mani. This was originally going to be a Valentines design, but after some persuasion I altered it to birthday nails - and I'm glad I did! I started with a drybrush of a few MoYou London purples over Zoya 'Elyse'. I then stamped the heart balloons from Lina Nail Art Supplies plate A Fair To Remember, normal balloons from UberChic Beauty plate Party Time, and created the wording from various plates and images.

What do you think? I feel like I was on a roll with nail art doing all of these, I've really enjoyed it recently! There's quite a nice mix of designs here.
