Virtual Polish Con UK 2021 - Out Of This World

Hi! Today I have a couple of polishes from the 2021 Polish Con UK to share. Due to ongoing effects from the pandemic, we were yet again unable to host a physical Polish Con here in the UK - so like last year, we went virtual again! The theme this time around was Out of This World (Get Me Off This Planet!), which I think is very fitting. There are a lot of brands and products available this year, including the three following polishes that I was kindly send to swatch. Read on for my full swatches and more info!

First up is Beau Polish 'Terrany'. Inspired by Michael Burnham from Star Trek Discovery, it is a blue jelly base with a gold, blue and violet shift, and gold flakes. This was pretty much opaque for me in two coats, but I did add a quick third to make sure it covered evenly. Below is two coats with topcoat.

To compliment the gold flakes, I stamped the swirly pattern from UberChic Beauty plate Fairytale 01 in gold.

Next is Liv Oliv 'Float Me Away to the Milky Way', a blue to pink shifty base with silver, pink, and blue sparkles. This was inspired by the Milky Way itself. I expected this one to be super sheer, but it built up beautifully. Below is three coats with topcoat.

I felt like this one needed stars. I stamped the negative space star pattern from UberChic plate 1-03 in black.

I also couldn't resist seeing how this polish applied over black. On my pointer and pinky nails below, I applied one coat of 'Float Me Away to the Milky Way' over a black base. I then paired it with some galaxy swirls and stars, sponging the polish over black.

Last up is Shanelle Louise World 'Vortex', a violet to blue shimmery base with hints of gold and green, and a subtle holographic sparkle. I love the soft subtle sparkles. Again, this one built up really nicely. Below is three coats with topcoat.
