Zoya - Summer 2021 Dreamin' Collection

*AD - Gifted*
Hi! Today I'm back to share my swatches of the Zoya Dreamin' Collection for Summer 2021. This is a six-piece collection instead of the usual twelve - most likely because of the recent Easy Neons release (if you missed my post on those, you can find that here). The Dreamin' Collection consists of several bright cremes and a 'mermaid shimmer'. Read on for my full swatches and more info!

Before getting into the individual swatches, I'll address the overall formula here. I found all six of the polishes smooth and easy to apply. I think you could easily get away with two coats for most of the cremes. I did apply a third to two of them, which I'll mention below. The shimmer is slightly sheerer, but still easy to apply and good to go in three coats.

'Desi' is described as a 'vibrant geranium coral creme'. I had a few subtle streaks after my second coat, although I'm pretty sure it was due to me overworking the polish. With a slightly more careful application, it would have been fine in two. Below is three coats with topcoat.

'Polly' is described as a 'lush fruit-punch pink creme'. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Darla' is described as a 'gerber daisy pink creme'. This is right on the edge between a pink and a purple, and does lean more towards the purple side on my nails. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Skipper' is described as a 'milky purple neon'. It also dries down naturally matte. I was going to mention that this is very similar to the Easy Neons formula, and then realised that Zoya do so themselves in the polish listing! As with the previous neons, I found it benefitted from a third coat due to being slightly on the jelly side. Below is three coats without topcoat.

'Mateo' is described as a 'cool-toned pacific blue creme'. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Summer' is described as a 'mermaid shimmer featuring flashes of green and gold with a blue base'.

I also did a quick smoosh mani with all six of the polishes as I thought they complimented each other really well. I love the little pops of sparkle from 'Summer'.

What do you think? When I first saw this collection, I did think I'd have dupes for most of them in my Zoya collection already. However, they do all have a unique twist or undertone to them - so I was pleasantly surprised. I've used them a fair bit for nail art already, so you can expect to see them popping up over on my Instagram over the next few weeks.

You can find the full Dreamin' Collection on the Zoya website here. For those in the UK like me, you can also find them on the Zoya UK website here.

Hope to see you in the next post!
