Essie - Feelin' Poppy Collection (with NailPolishBabyy90)

*AD - Gifted*
Hello! Today I have the Essie Feelin' Poppy Collection to share with you. These were released last year, but never made it over to us in the UK until now. Essie were kind enough to send me half of the collection. Amy over at NailPolishBabyy90 was sent the other half, so we decided to join together to show you the full collection. Read on for our full swatches and more info!

Before I get into the individual swatches, I'll address the formulas here. All of the polishes have the new wide flat brush which I find helps massively with application. They were all smooth and easy to apply, and you could easily get away with two coats on all three I swatched. I added a third to one out of preference, so I'll mention that below.

I'll start with the shades I was sent, and then the three Amy has swatched.

'Come on Clover' is a described as a 'vivid green with yellow undertones'. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Ruffle Your Petals' is described as a 'soft creamy lilac'. This has pinky undertones, but definitely still leans lilac on my skin. I expected to need three coats but it was perfect in two. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Blossoms n' Besties' is described as a 'midtone hot pink'. This one was ever so slightly more of a jelly formula, so I did add a third coat to make sure it covered my nail line completely. If you aren't fussy, you could easily get away with two. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Now onto the three Amy recieved!

'Sway in Crochet' is described as a 'milky pastel blue'. Amy has worn three coats for her pictures, but mentions that you can easily get away with two in everyday life. Below is three coats with topcoat.

'Everything's Rosy' is described as a 'soft pink with yellow undertones'. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Feelin' Poppy' is described as a 'vibrant orange-red'. Similar to 'Sway in Crochet', Amy has said that this is a two or three coater depending, and would be fine in tow for everyday wear. Below is three coats with topcoat.

What do you think? Essie was inspired by a 'playful midsummer afternoon spent frolicking in the blooming fields with your besties which leaves you feelin' poppy!' You can definitely see the inspiration in the colours, with Essie mentioning florals, blue skies, and green grass. I think 'Come on Clover' is the most unique to my Essie collection, and my favourite of the three I recieved.

The Essie Feelin' Poppy Collection is available from the 16th June at Superdrug. Make sure to head over to Amy's YouTube video for the collection here, and check out her Instagram page here.

Hope to see you in the next post!
