Barry M - Green Origins (Part 1)

*AD - Gifted*
Hello lovelies! Today I have the Barry M Green Origins Nail Paints to share with you. These  celebrated their first Birthday in September, so I figured it was a perfect time to share my swatches. There are 12 polishes in total, which were split into two releases. In this post I'll share the original 8 polishes, and in my next post I'll have the additional 4. The Green Origins polishes are made with 70% natural ingredients including potato, corn, and wheat. Read on for my full swatches and more info!

These polishes have a really impressive formula. They are all super smooth and easy to apply, helped by the wide flat brush Barry M use. They also have really good opacity. A few are easily one coaters, and if you're not as picky with me, you could probably get away with most of them in one. Let's get into the individual polishes!

'Down to Earth' is a nude creme. I always expect to need three coats for colours like this, so was really happy when it was an easy two coater. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Mushroom' is a light brown creme. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Butterscotch' is a rich brown-toned mustard creme. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Boysenberry' is a rich berry pink/purple creme. This one is a complete one coater, even for me. I normally add a second anyway but really couldn't justify it with this one. Below is one coat with topcoat.

'Red Sea' is a deep red creme. This is the only one I was tempted to add a third on, due to subtle lighter patches on one or two nails. If I wasn't taking swatch pictures, I would have left it in two. Below is two/three coats with topcoat.

'Night Sky' is a deep navy blue creme. This is another easy one coater, although I did add a second out of habit. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Evergreen' is a dark forest green creme. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Rock Pool' is a teal creme. Another possible one coater depending on your application. In typical teal fashion, this one is a nightmare to photograph accurately, so I did have to do some minor editing to try to show the true colour. Below is two coats with topcoat.

What do you think? I was really impressed with both the formula and opacity on all of these polishes, and they're the perfect rich autumnal shades for this time of year. As promised, I'll be back with the four polishes from the second release soon - the post is already written and ready to go!

You can find all of the Green Origin nail paints on the Barry M website here.

Hope to see you in the next post!
