Hello!
Today I'm back with my nail art catch up catch up for the month of May. Similar to my swatch catch up post, I don't have too many 'new' manis to share with you. Most of the nail art I posted in May was for the nail art challenges I took part it, both of which I've already shared on here (see my posts for May's Glam Nails Challenge here, and Dimension Nails Challenge here). Read on for more info!
First up are some double stamped flowers over OPI 'Berlin There, Done That'. I settled on a flower design from UberChic Beauty plate 23-02, stamping first with Painted Polish 'Stamped in Greenery', and then again with 'Stamped in Living Coral'. I then added a coat of Barry M matte topcoat.
Here it is before matte topcoat:
Next is a mani created for Laura-Louise of Redheads Paint it Better's birthday. The themes were colourful and music (LL is a big Elvis fan!). I created a colourful base using Barry M 'Pistachio', 'Mandarin', and 'Grape Soda', over Barry M 'Lemon Sorbet'. I then stamped using images from UberChic Beauty plates Hipster-01 and Party Time.
The third and final mani for this post is from another birthday collaboration, this time for Katie of SoPolished8. This time the theme was pink and purple florals. For my mani, I started with a drybrush of various Barry M pink and purple polishes. I then stamped flowers from Lina Nail Art Supplies plate Make Your Mark 01 using Hit The Bottle 'Snowed In'.
That's all for today! What do you think? All three are stamped manis, but there are quite a few different techniques spread across the three -including wet brushing, dry brushing, and double stamping. I'm enjoying playing around with my nail art a bit more and getting creative!
Hope to see you in the next post!
Becca x
