Hello! Today I'm back with another Polish Pick Up July rewind shade to share with you, this time from Painted Polish. Lexi brought back the popular 'Ice & Fire' in her shop, originally offered as part of June's Weather Phenomena theme. It was also available at Rainbow Connection where I managed to grab a bottle. Read on for my swatch and some stamping!
'Ice & Fire' is a light blue crelly base with red, gold, and copper shifty flakes. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. The base in this is quite sheer due to being a softer colour, and I did find I needed a third coat for full opacity. You get a very generous amount of flakes out which lie flat on the nail. Below is three coats with topcoat.
For my stamping, I used UberChic Beauty Got Chevron? plate. I played around with one of the thicker, bolder full nail chevron patterns, mixing and matching it across my nails. On my ring finger, I also added the Got Chevron? wording. I'm not sure this is how I completely envisioned this mani turning out, but I do like it!

What do you think? I literally can't get enough of Painted Polish at the moment, and I'm so glad I didn't miss this one a second time around as I really would have regretted it! The inspiration comes from Game of Thrones - I've never watched it myself, but I can appreciate a pretty crelly!
Unfortunately, as July is now over, 'Ice & Fire' is no longer available. However, you can find lots of other Painted Polish beauties on Rainbow Connection here, and on the Painted Polish website here.
Hope to see you in the next post!
