Hello lovelies! Today I'm back to share swatches of a mystery bag from Rainbow Connection. Annette is currently offering a couple of different brand specific mystery bags. I picked up a Colors by Llarowe bag, consisting of four of Leah Ann's creations. I don't have enough CbL polishes so this was an easy purchase! Read on for full swatches of the polishes I recieved and more info.

'Banana Smoothie' is a soft, sheer yellow base with both unicorn pee and aurora shifty pigments. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. This is very sheer so could be used as a topper. I don't think I could realistically build it up to full opacity on my nails. I do have a very obvious nail line, so keep in mind that yours may not show quite as much! Below is three coats with topcoat.

'Azure Thing' is a bright light blue crelly. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. This does start off sheer and a bit streaky, but does even out as the colour builds up. I added a thicker third coat for more opacity, and while I can still see my nail line, I really like this - it dries down to that super glossy, squishy finish! Below is three coats with topcoat.

'Lethal' is a sheer shimmery multichrome base with matching multichrome microglitters. This mainly shifts blue to purple to navy but also has a copper/orange element. It has a smooth, easy to apply formula and the glitters spread out nicely. This could be a topper but I decided to build it up alone. It dries textured so I would recommend topcoat. Below is three coats with topcoat.

'Spring Forward' is a 'grape purple' base with holographic flakes and a red to lilac shimmer. This was the POTM (Polish of the Month) released for April 2018. The formula is slightly on the thick side, but isn't difficult to apply. It also has very good coverage on the first coat. I added a second to cover some ligher patches and bring it fully opaque. Below is two coats with topcoat.

What do you think? These aren't all polishes I would have picked for myself, but that's half the fun of a mystery bag! I was also surprised how much more I liked a few of them on my nails than I expected. I have already posted some nail art looks using the first two polishes as my bases - 'Banana Smoothie' here, and 'Azure Thing' here.
