Hello! I'm back with July's mani catch up post. I feel like July has gone really quickly, and can't believe it's August tomorrow! For today I have a quick post for you, with one simple nail art look, and one swatch. Read on to see both in full and for more info!
First up is this pink and purple leopard print mani. I started off with a base of Cuccio 'Water You Doing?!' from June's Mani and Lola box (swatched here). I then added my leopard print stamping using UberChic Beauty plate Out of Africa-01 and Painted Polish 'Stamped in Living Coral'. I also matted these using Cuccio's matte topcoat, again from June's Mani and Lola box.
Glam Polish 'I Want To Play A Game' is a blue jelly base with shifty iridescent flakes and small holographic microglitter. This was a Halloween Horror Shop small batch limited edition from 2016 that I picked up in a destash. The formula feels slightly thick but is easy to apply. It starts off a bit sheer and streaky, but builds up well. I added a third coat to even out some very subtle light patches. Below is three coats with topcoat.
What do you think? Are you a leopard print person, or is the blue flakie jelly more your style? I love a bit of animal print on my nails, especially when it's with some fun bright colours. I also do love the Glam Polish, even if I may have initially bought it just for the saw related name!
Hope to see you in the next post!
