Mani and Lola - June 2019

Hello lovelies! Today I have June's Mani and Lola box to share with you. I feel like I've had this sat on my desk waiting to be swatched for forever, so it was finally time to get it done! June's box says to 'think bold and bright', claiming to have 'seriously irresistible and fashion forward nail colours'. Read on for my full swatches and a look at everything we recieved.

Mavala 'Coral Bay' is a bright coral creme. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed to get a mini polish, but I do love the colour. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. It does start off a bit streaky, and I  needed three coats to even it out fully. I also found that this dried down slightly darker than it applied. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Zoya 'River' is a bold, shimmery blue. The formula is slightly on the thin side, though is easy to apply. This also starts of very sheer so does need building up. I could still faintly see my nail line at certain angles after three coats, but it takes a lot for me to justify a fourth. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Cuccio 'Water You Doing?!' is a bold purple creme. The formula is slightly thin, but easy to apply. This was a bit more of a jelly than I expected, and is sheer and streaky to begin with. However, it does build up really well, and I think you could get away with two careful coats. I added a third to completely even everything out. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Again from Cuccio is a bottle of their matte topcoat. I have been using matte topcoat a lot more recently, especially over nail art, so I will definitely get a lot of use out of this! I applied it below over a gradient of 'Coral Bay' and 'Water You Doing?!'. I find that matte polish tends to chip quicker, but I wore this for 4/5 days with no chips or wear!

Lastly, we also recieved a box of OPI Wipe-Off! acetone free polish remover wipes. These kind of wipes are super handy for travelling and removing your mani on the go. I don't tend to use them myself, but that's personal preference!

What do you think? This wasn't my favourite box from Mani and Lola, but it still has some good products in! I think I'll get the most use out of the Cuccio matte topcoat. Unfortunately, I have now unsubscribed (again, long story!), so this is the last box you'll see from me unless I resubscribe in the future.
