Hello! Today I'm back with another swatch my untrieds post. This time I have two polishes from the Colors By Llarowe limited edition trio released for the 2018 Disneyland themed Indie Shop in Anaheim. Thankfully, the trio was made available for us UK addicts over at Rainbow Connection. I am Disney obssessed so picked up my favourites. Read on for my full swatches and nail art!

'Mickey's Main Street' is an aqua green linear holographic with a pink to green shimmer. I found the formula to be slightly on the thinner side, though it was still smooth and easy to apply. It is quite sheer to begin with but builds up nicely. I could just about see my nail line after two coats, so added a third. Below is three coats with topcoat.

I couldn't resist adding a quick Mickey in honour of the polish name. I made a decal using one of the Mickey Mouse images on BBF plate 91, carefully colouring him in before popping him onto my ring finger.

'Pinch of Pixie Dust' is a blurple jelly base with holographic flakies and a pink to green shimmer (the pink stands out really well!). The formula was a little bit on the thin side, but still smooth and easy to apply. Similar to the previous polish, I ended up adding a third coat to cover my nail line. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Again, I had to honour the name of the polish and sneak in some tinkerbell/pixie dust stamping. I stamped the stars from UberChic Beauty plate 2-01 and both wording and a fairy from plate Fairytale-02 using Esmaltes Da Kelly 'Kiki'.

What do you think? These are both amazing! I'm really enjoying these type of posts as I have too many polishes that for whatever reason, either haven't been shared on here, or haven't been swatched/used at all. I always feel like it's a bit silly to post them after so long and then they end up sitting around for even longer. I'd love to know your thoughts - do you prefer only seeing current polishes, or occasionally seeing some older treasures too?

ReplyDeleteI love pretty long nails polished with pretty polish :-). So for me it doesn't matter whether the polish is new or old.
