Hello! Today I have my June mani catch up post. I feel like I've done a lot more nail art this month, and not quite as many swatches. I've really enjoyed it, but I do have a fair few swatches planned to share in July! For June's catch up, I have two nail art looks and one quick swatch. Read on to see each in full and for more info!

Mani Catch Up - June 2019 @acertainbeccaa |
First up is some fingerprinting over Creative Cuticles Nail Polish 'Fatal Conspiracy', swatched here. This isn't exactly the most seasonally appropriate mani, but seeing as the polish is inspired by CSI, I couldn't resist! I didn't use any plates or fancy techniques - instead I literally created fingerprints by pressing my fingertip into black polish and then onto each nail.

Next is a sunflower mani I did as part of an Instagram collab arranged to cheer up Danni of Toxic Nailz. On my outer nails, I gradiented Barry M 'Banana Split' and Painted Polish 'Stamped in Mustard. For my middle and ring nail, I created sunflower decals using Creative Shop plate 97, 'Banana Split', and 'Stamped in Mustard', and applied them over a white base.

Last up is OPI 'Show Us Your Tips!', a soft shimmery periwinkle. This definitely seemed to be a favourite in the New Orleans Collection, and I finally got myself a bottle recently. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. It does start off on the sheer side, but builds up nicely in three coats. Below is three coats with topcoat.

What do you think? It's a bit of a random bunch for this month's catch up! I think the sunflower mani has to be my favourite of the three, even though I wasn't a massive fan on the day as it didn't go entirely to plan.
Hope to see you in the next post!
