Hi lovelies! Today I have a Swatch My Untrieds post. I was using these posts a while back (in 2017!) to finally dig into some of the older polishes in my collection that I'd yet to share swatches of. I thought I'd revive the idea, starting with two polishes from US brand Anchor & Heart Lacquer that Kirsty (FairyTales Nails) gifted me last year. Read on for my swatches and more info!
After a bit of googling, I found out that both of these polishes were from Anchor & Heart's debut collection, all the way back at the start of 2016!
'A Mother's Love' is a bright pink holographic jelly with small purple to blue shifting glitters and a bright purple flash. It has a smooth, easy to apply formula. Being a jelly, this does start off quite sheer. I found it built up nicely in three coats. Below is three coats with topcoat.
'Wherever I'm With You' is a purple base with shifty ultrachrome flakies and a bright blue shimmer. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. Again, this is a bit sheer on the first coat. I still had some lighter patches after a second, so added a third. Below is three coats with topcoat.
What do you think? These are actually the first Anchor & Heart polishes that I've tried. I'm pretty sure I also have a crelly duo from the brand in my massive untrieds stash - I'll have to dig it out once I have access to all of my helmers again!
