Hello! Today I have some nail art using polishes from the recent Sally Hansen and Jelly Belly collaboration polishes. If you missed my swatches of all 11 polishes, you can find those in my previous post here. I created four different nail art looks while swatching - read on for more info and to see them all in full!
First up, I did a dry brush over 'Coconut'. I used all six other cremes from the collection, 'Very Cherry', 'Bubble Gum', 'Island Punch', 'Blueberry', 'Berry Blue', and 'Green Apple'.

Next I did some stamping over 'Very Cherry'. I intended to do some Lilo & Stitch nail art over this, but I've misplaced my BBF plate! Instead, I used UberChic Beauty plate 2-03 and Hit The Bottle 'Snowed In', to do some Lilo & Stitch inspired flowers.
Next, I paired together 'Strawberry Cheesecake' and 'Bubble Gum'. I stamped over the 'Bubble Gum' nails using MoYou London 'Orchid Chic' and Creative Shop plate 26. The stamping pattern reminds me a little bit of Easter eggs.

Finally, I stamped over a gradient of 'Berry Blue' and 'Blueberry'. I used Hit The Bottle 'As Black As Night' & Creative Shop plate 20, stamping the lizard onto my ring finger and the tribal pattern onto the rest of my nails.
What do you think? Let me know which one is your favourite. I have a soft spot for the Lilo & Stitch inspired florals, but my boyfriend loves the blue tribal.
Hope to see you in the next post!

My favorite is the dry brush! I am rotten at the dry brush technique — either there is no color or else oops, bit blobs. Also, I am enamored with Coconut as a wonderful off-white base for nail art.
ReplyDeleteHaha I know the feeling, it's so easy to get too much or too little off the brush! It's nice not to be so overpoweringly white and bright x
