Hi lovelies! Today I have an exciting post for you - more Barry M gellys! Four new gelly hi-shine nail paints have been released for the Summer months. Amongst the four new shades is a bright yellow - some of us Barry M addicts have been waiting for a yellow gelly for a long time, how exciting! Read on for my full swatches and more info.'Banana Split' is a bright yellow creme. The formula is super smooth and easy to apply, and has good opacity for a yellow. I did have a couple of streaks after my second coat, but those with shorter nails should be fine. I added a third for my longer nails to even it out completely. Below is three coats with topcoat.
'Pink Grapefruit' is a bright pink creme. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. This is a bit sheer and streaky on the first coat, but evens out and is fully opaque with a second. I feel like it dries down slightly darker than it applies. Below is two coats with topcoat.
'Tangerine' is a bright vibrant orange creme. It has a smooth, easy to apply formula. This has good opacity on the first coat, although I could still see my nail line. A second coat brought it fully opaque. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Blueberry Muffin' is a slightly teal blue creme. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. Similar to 'Tangerine', this has good coverage on the first coat but does need a second to cover completely. Below is two coats with topcoat.
This does not photograph accurately, as is typical with teal leaning shades. I have edited it slightly to be more true to colour.

What do you think? I've always been a big fan of the gelly range, and if you follow me then you'll know I love my bright colours - so these are a definite win for me. The yellow would have to be my personal favourite after yearning for a yellow gelly for so long, but all of them are going to be staples in my Summer manis!
You can find all four new gelly polishes for £3.99 each on the Barry M website here. You can also find them on the Superdrug website here.
Hope to see you in the next post!

Hi! I'm starting up my own blog on wordpress, however my images aren't coming up on Google when I search - any tips to get your images to show up? Yours do, and I love them :)
ReplyDeleteHi lovely! Good luck with your blog. I normally just make sure I add captions to my photos, then they tend to come up. You can also add ALT text (but I don't!) x
