Nine Zero Lacquer Spring Flakie Crellies

Hello lovelies! Today I'm back with swatches of some super springy Nine Zero Lacquer polishes. Last year, Jess released flakie crelly 'Robin's Egg' in her spring collection. Amongst this years spring collection, she released an additional four similar flakie crellies in different colours. I purchased all five in my recent Rainbow Connection order. Read on for my full swatches and more info!

'Robin's Egg' is a turquoise crelly with multichrome flakies and a gold shimmer. This was from the 2018 spring collection. The formula is smooth and easy to apply, and has good opacity on the first coat. I added a second to cover some lighter patches and even it out completely. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Now onto the newer polishes!

'Marigold' is a soft yellowy orange with multichrome flakies and a gold shimmer. The formula is super smooth and easy to apply, and you get a good amount of flakies out. I decided last minute to add a third coat for some very subtle lighter streaks, but I could have got away with two. Below is three coats with topcoat.

'Clover' is a light green base with multichrome flakies and a gold shimmer. It starts off a bit sheer, but has a lovely formula and builds up really well. This is another one that I think could either be a two or a three coater depending on your application and preference. Below is three coats with topcoat.

'Primrose' is a pink base with multichrome flakies and a gold shimmer. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. I did find this one a bit more opaque than the previous shades, and so it built up quicker. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Lilac' is a light purple base with multichrome flakies and a gold shimmer. Like the others, the formula is smooth and easy to apply. I had a few lighter streaks after two coats, so added a third to even it out fully. Below is three coats with topcoat.

What do you think? It sounds daft, but it's been so long that I almost forgot just how much I love Jess's polishes! I've also been very much into spring colours recently, especially those packed with flakies. My favourite from these would have to be 'Clover' - I'm obssessed with green polish at the moment, and it is such a lovely soft yet bright base shade.

Hope to see you in the next post!
