Mani and Lola - October 2018

Hello lovelies! Today I have October's Mani and Lola box to share with you. If you missed my post for September's box, you can find that here. For October, Mani and Lola treated us to lots of seasonally appropriate goodies that work really well together. Read on for a look at everything we recieved and more info!

First up for polishes is ORLY Breathable 'The Antidote', a rich deep wine creme. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. This is a little bit sheer and patchy on the first coat, but a second builds it up and evens it out completely. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Next is Cuccio 'Vegas Vixen', a grey base packed full of silver glitters. It has a smooth, easy to apply formula, especially considering the amount of glitter. It was nearly opaque for me in two coats, though I did add a third to build it up that little bit more. This does dry textured. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Next is Zoya 'Dannii', a medium pink-toned purple with a metallic shimmer. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. I still had a couple of sheer patches after a second coats, so did need to add a third. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Last is Morgan Taylor 'Sweet Escape' is a slightly coral-toned orange creme. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. This was opaque in two coats for the most part, although I did have some very slight streaks I wanted to even out. Most people should be fine with two coats for this. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Last up, we also recieved a generous pot of Icon 'cosmic fibre' holographic bar glitter from Cuccio, and a pot of Jessica Nourish cuticle balm. Both are great products for the upcoming party season and the cold weather.

What do you think? I loved this box! The four polishes are perfect for the current season, and worked so well around Halloween time. I've been using glitters a lot more recently, so appreciate the addition to my nail art box. Cuticle balms are a must for me too!
