Bow Polish 'Doomsday'

Hello lovelies! If you saw my recent swatch of Cirque Colors 'Dusky Skies' here, you'll know that my Stepmum Jen treated me to two polishes from Hypnotic Polish. Today I'm back with the second one, a fun magnetic from Bow Polish called 'Doomsday'. I don't often pick out magnetic polishes for myself, but I've been loving this so much! Read on for my swatch and more info.

'Doomsday' is a magnetic multichrome with a shimmer that shifts from a bright pink to orange and then to gold and green. It is super smooth and easy to apply, though it is sheer due to mainly being composed of shimmer. I did try to build this up it's own, but I much prefer it layered over ablack base. I applied a thick coat and magnetised it both before and after topcoat to get a stronger effect. Below is one coat (with topcoat) over black.

As you can see from my photos, I mostly tend to see either the bright pinky purple and orange in more direct lighting - but the gold and green do come out to play a lot in person too!

What do you think? The magnetic effect is incredible! I do love the shimmer unmagnetised too, but once magnetised I couldn't stop wiggling my nails to watch the shimmer move around. I even put it both hands which is very rare for me. This is only the second Bow Polish I've tried - maybe I need more!

You can find Bow Polish 'Doomsday' on the Hypnotic Polish website here. Thank you again to Jen for picking it up for me!

Hope to see you in the next post!
