Hello! Today I have the newest Barry M Under The Sea nail paints to share with you. These four shades join the original four released at the beginning of the year. Keeping with the mermaid inspired theme, they are all gorgeous shimmers that Barry M claim 'will have you glistening from every angle'. Read on for my full swatches and more info!Barry M Under The Sea Nail Paints - New Additions @acertainbeccaa |
Before I get into my swatches, I will discuss the formulas. They are on the sheerer side (which helps shimmer show through nicely), but have super smooth and easy to apply formulas. I could still see my nail line after three coats on a couple of them - although those with shorter nails and/or a softer nail line should get slightly better coverage.
'Moonfish' is a pale blue base with a copper shimmer that shifts to a pink at certain angles. Below is three coats with topcoat.
'Seahorse' is a smoky grey base with a bright purple shimmer. Below is three coats with topcoat.
'Electric Eel' is a bright blue base with a green to gold shifting shimmer. Below is three coats with topcoat.

What do you think? I was really impressed with all of these! I did expect them to be on the sheer side, but I was more than happy with the coverage at three coats. If I had to pick a favourite it would be 'Pacific Flame' - I love the unique combination of red and green. Four new Barry M gellies for Autumn/Winter arrived at my door a few days ago, so check back soon for swatches of those!
You can find all four of the new Under The Sea shades on the Barry M website here, and the Superdrug website here.
Hope to see you in the next post!

Love those bottle caps! Frustrated that Barry M haven't made their way across the sea ... ordering online is no good for my impulsive nature. :)
