Hello! Today I'm back with a look at another OPI polish from UK stockist Queen of Nails. If you missed my last post for them showing OPI leather effect shade 'Rydell Forever' (from the Grease Collection), you can find that here. This time around I have a slightly older polish to share with you. Read on for a look at 'SPF XXX' from the 2016 Retro Summer collection and some nail art.'SPF XXX' is a coral orange creme. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. It does start off a bit streaky, but has good coverage. I think you could probably get away with two coats depending on your application, but I needed a third on my nails. Below is three coats with topcoat.
As promised, I did add a quick bit of nail art over my swatch. Using a dotting tool and a white polish, I added white polka dots to each nail. This always seems like a simple mani, but I always struggle to keep the dots consistent!
What do you think? I always love this type of colour, especially when I'm after a quick pop of brightness on my nails. I think it works perfectly with the polka dots for a fun summer mani - I really want to do the same on my toes!
You can find 'SPF XXX' for £7.99 on the Queen of Nails website here. They stock a wide selection of OPI shades in numerous formulas, as well as lots of other brands.
Hope to see you in the next post!
