Hi lovelies! Today I have swatches of three of the Barry M Molten Metal holographic polishes. These were released a few months ago, and haved sadly been sat unloved in my swatch pile - until now! Plus with all of the hot weather and the sun out constantly at the moment, it's a perfect time to play with holographics. Read on for my full swatches and more info!
'Holographic Sunburst' is an orangey red holographic. The formula is very smooth and easy to apply. It does start off slightly sheer at first, but builds up really well and is opaque after a second. I was almost tempted to add a third coat, but didn't need to. Below is two coats with topcoat.
'Holographic Flare' is a sage green holographic. Again the formula is super smooth and easy to apply, starts off slightly sheer, and builds up well after a quick second coat. Below is two coats with topcoat.
'Holographic Rocket' is a purple holographic. Like the other two, the formula is smooth and easy to apply. I did add a third coat on this one, though as with the others, you could easily get away with just the two. Below is three coats with topcoat.
What do you think? After Barry M's silver holographic molten metal 'Holographic Lights' last year (swatched here), a lot of us had hoped they would bring out more - and they didn't let us down! These are perfect for the Summer months, and I have used a couple for nail art already.
You can find all three polishes mentioned (as well as a fourth new addition, the nude 'Holographic Moon', and the older Molten Metals) on the Barry M website here.
Hope to see you in the next post!
