Hello! It seems like I haven't really done any proper nail art for the longest time, so I've finally got some to share with you today. I mentioned in one of my recent Road to Polish Con posts (you can find part 1 here, and part 2 here), that I wanted to use the Different Dimension, Glisten & Glow, and Cupcake Polish together in a mani - so that's exactly what I've done! I decided to smoosh them all together and ended up with the mani below. Read on to find out more!

I started with a base of Glisten & Glow 'Spirit of Chicago', a purple holographic with shimmer and silver microflakes. I used this one as my base as I'd say it was the softest of the three, and as I wanted to make sure my smoosh had no bald spots. Shown below is two coats with topcoat.

I then created my smoosh. I went for the stamper head method - which I don't think I've ever actually done before! I added drops of each of the three colours (Glisten & Glow 'Spirit of Chicago', Different Dimension 'Odyssey II', and Cupcake Polish 'Mystic Blue') onto my stamper, then smooshed it over each nail until I was happy with the outcome.

I wasn't sure whether to leave it as it was, or stamp over the top. I decided to go for some quick stamping, using Hit The Bottle 'As Black As Night' and UberChic Beauty plate 23-01 (reviewed here). Here's the final look.

What do you think? Do you prefer the smoosh on it's own, or with the added stamping? I'm really happy with how it came out, especially considering my recent lack of nail art! I need to get back into doing it more - it's always good fun!
Hope to see you in the next post!
