Bee's Knees Lacquer Swatches

Hello! Today I have swatches of two polishes from new to me brand Bee's Knees Lacquer. Annette over at Rainbow Connection has recently started stocking the brand, and offered me a couple of polishes to swatch. Having heard such good things about Bees Knee's, I couldn't refuse! 'All About That Half-Life' is a sage green holographic multichrome that shifts from sage to silver to lime, with a shifty blue/green shimmer and iridescent blue flakes. This is based on Professor Quirrell and Lord Voldermort (from Harry Potter). The formula is smooth and easy to apply, and has good coverage. I did need a second coat, although one thicker coat worked fine on my thumb. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'We'll Never Bee Royals' is a an ultraviolet base with a shifting purple to pink to green shimmer and iridescent teal flakes. This is January's colour of the month, and is ultraviolet for the Pantone colour of 2018. It starts off sheer at first, but is smooth and easy to apply and builds up really well in two coats. I added a third for some very minor patches, though could have easily left it. Below is three coats with topcoat.

What do you think? They are stunning! I love the shiftiness of 'All About That Half-Life', and the depth of the shimmer and flakes (which keep popping off my nails in shades of blue and green) in 'We'll Never Bee Royals'. Both polishes have great formulas, and are completely unique to my collection. I love the names too!
