Hello lovelies! Today I have swatches of some of my first Dollish Polish polishes. I love uniqueness of Dolly's creations and finally bit the bullet and ordered five from her clearance bin. Not only were these clearance shades, but I ordered them an embarrassingly long time ago and until now, had only shared one of them (here). Read on for my full swatches of the remaining four and more info!
'Just Keep Swimming' is a sheer base with blue and silver microglitter, small yellow glitters, yellow and blue hexes, large black hexes, and large white squares. This is of course inspired by Dory! The glitter is very dense and spreads out without much manipulation. I did have to fish for one or two of the larger squares, but they were easy to find. Below is one coat with topcoat over Zoya 'Dory' - I couldn't resist.
'This is My BOOMSTICK!' is a blue base with red flakes. This is from the Dead By Dawn collection, inspired by The Evil Dead (I'm a sucker for a good horror!). It does have a slightly thick formula but isn't difficult to apply. The base is fairly sheer as to not cover the flakes, although builds up nicely. Below is three coats with topcoat.
'I <3 Nerds' is a pink base with small metallic blue and purple hexes and squares, and larger metallic pink and blue squares. The formula is smooth and easy to apply, and the glitters spread out easily without too much manipulation. It was almost there on two coats for me, but I did add a third to make sure. Below is three coats with topcoat.
'Who Lives in a Pineapple Under the Sea?' is a white crelly base with blue shimmer, small white squares, metallic gold hexes and squares, metallic blue squares, and red stars. Who can resist a Spongebob polish?! This is slightly on the thick side and does start off sheer, but builds up nicely in three coats. Below is three coats with topcoat.
What do you think? I'm glad I finally got round to swatching these as they're amazing! As much as I love them all, 'Just Keep Swimming' is my favourite. It excited me far too much to have such perfect Dory nails. I already have my eye on a fair few other polishes from Dollish, so I might have to order again soon.
