iZ Beauty of London - Halloween Inspired Shades & Decals

 *Press Sample*
Hello lovelies! Today I have two sets of Halloween decals from iZ Beauty of London to share with you, as well as four polishes that are perfect for spooky manicures. As with all of iZ Beauty's polishes, these are gel effect, and dry down to a lovely glossy finish. They pair perfectly with the decals. Read on for my full swatches and nail art!

I'll start with the polishes first, and then get into the decals.

'Pumpkin Pie' is a bright orange. This has more of a jelly formula, so does start off a bit on the sheer side. However, it is smooth and easy to apply and builds up nicely in three coats. This is the perfect orange for Pumpkin nail art. Below is three coats with topcoat.

'Emerald City' is an emerald green creme. It has a smooth, easy to apply formula. This has a couple of streaks on the first coat, which are easily evened out with a second. A second coat also deepens the colour. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Purple Storm' is a rich deep purple creme. The formula is smooth and easy to apply, although does start off a bit sheer and streaky. This wasn't quite there for me after a second, so I did add a third. Those with shorter nails should be fine with two. This can look almost black in certain lighting. Below is three coats with topcoat.

'VIP' is a clear base full of various black and gold glitters. I can pick out squares, hexes, microglitters, and bars. I decided to apply this over a bright red to make both the black and gold pop. The glitters are very densely packed, and spread out without too much manipulation. Below is one coat with topcoat over a red.

Now onto the decals. I was sent two different Halloween themed sets. The 'Halloween Treat' set is full of solid black cats, pumpkins, and witches. The 'Halloween Trick' set has coloured pumpkins, spiders, witches hats, creepy castles, and more.

I used the 'Halloween Treat' set over a base of 'Pumpkin Pie'. I love a good orange and black combo for Halloween. I carefully placed various images onto my nails to create the look below.

I used the 'Halloween Trick' set over a base of 'Emerald City'. I stuck to mainly the spider images (even though I hate spiders!), and also pinched a black cat from the Treat set. I thought it would look playful against the dangling spider.

What do you think? Both the polishes and decals are just perfect for Halloween! Pairing the two together makes for super quick and easy themed manicures. My favourite polish from the four would have to be 'Pumpkin Pie'. I'm a sucker for oranges all year round, but especially so in October. Add any of the decals, and I'm set!

You can find iZ Beauty of London's polishes on their website here. Each bottle is 6ml and retails for £6. The decals are £2 per sheet, and can be found here.

Hope to see you in the next post!

  1. I tagged along to a PR event in London for IZ with Becca this time last year and have to say since then I have loved them! All of the polishes I have bought from them are very dense colours, very very quick drying and last for ages,
I was so impressed with the speed these dry at that I've not used used any other base or top coats from other companies since, and unusually like other nail brands, the base and top coat work equally as good with all other polishes on the market! By the time you have top coated both hands, the first fingers are touch dry,
I had a play with them earlier this week and tried different brands of polishes and was thrilled to find that even putting the top coat over a still tacky Polish from other brands, that it speeded up the drying, it's going to take a lot for another company to beat this brand, and so looking forward more colours being added to their collections,

    1. Ohh another thing I didn't mention is I'm a fan of blues, greens and reds, and since using the base coat, I've had no stains at all! And this is good as I'm not a full time nail polish wearer so most of the time go naked,
