Hello! Today I have swatches of the Painted Polish Hipster Trio to share with you. These were released at Polish Con New York back in April. Luckily for me, these weren't completely exclusive to the event, and I managed to snag a trio from Rainbow Connection. Read on for my full swatches and more info!
'V-Necks & Vinyl' is a fuschia ultra holographic with added silver holographic microglitters. The formula is super smooth and easy to apply, and has good coverage. It is a little bit sheer on the first coat, but builds up fully with a quick second. Below is two coats with topcoat.
'Mix Tapes & Man Buns' is a full coverage microglitter consisting of fuschia, orange, gold, and light blue glitters. This applies smoothly, and the glitter spreads out evenly without much manipulation. I found it built up well in two coats, and was fully opaque for me in three. You could also sponge this on. Below is three coats with topcoat.

'Beards & Bow Ties' is a white crelly base packed with the same microglitter mix (fuschia, orange, light blue, and gold). Again this has a lovely smooth formula and is easy to apply. The first coat is slightly sheer and patchy, but a second evens everything out. Below is two coats with topcoat.

What do you think? I absolutely love all three of these! They go perfectly together, and are all such unique polishes. Being both a lover of both pink and purple polish I was convinced I'd have something close to 'V-Necks & Vinyl', but I can't say that I do! I'm very happy that these were made available here in the UK.
The Hipster Trio is available on the Painted Polish website here and on Rainbow Connection here. They are limited edition however, and I don't believe they will be restocking once gone.
Hope to see you in the next post!
