26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Beach or Animal Silhouettes

Hello! Today I'm back with my first 26 Great Nail Art Ideas mani for July. If you missed the last prompt, 'Going on Holiday', you can find my post here. This time the theme is 'Beach or Animal Silhouettes'. I had ideas for both options, but ended up going with the beach look below. Read on to find out more!

I started with a base of ILNP 'Birthday Suit', a nude base full of small holographic flakes. This is from the Summer 2017 collection. I don't normally tend to go for nudes, but the flakes are so pretty, and it really reminds me of sand.

I then created a sort of layered french tip using the wave image from the Uberchic Beauty Mermaid Life stamping plate. I triple stamped the image on the tips of my nails - first using Painted Polish 'Boating in Blue Jeans', then Hit The Bottle 'Snowed In', and finally with MoYou London 'Turquoise Mint'.

I then stamped the 'She Dreams of the Ocean' wording (and the dolphin underneath if you can spot him!) from the Mermaid Life  plate onto my middle finger using 'Boating In Blue Jeans'. I also added a pair of flip flops from Uberchic plate 2-03 onto my ring finger using Painted Polish 'Stamped in Coral 2.0'.

What do you think? I was tempted to leave these with just the wave stamping on my tips, but I just couldn't resist adding more. It's been getting hot again these past few days, so it's definitely been a well timed theme! I'll be back in two weeks time with the next one, 'Sunshine'.
