Cirque Colors Kawaii Collection (Partial)

Hello! Today I have a very exciting post! Annette over at Rainbow Connection was kind enough to send me five polishes from the Cirque Colors Kawaii Collection to share with you. This 10-piece limited edition collection releases on the 28th April, and is the first release since Cirque's rebranding. Read on for my full swatches and more info!

Cirque Colors Kawaii Collection (Partial) @acertainbeccaa

'Shiny' is a full coverage silver flake polish, with a scattering of fine holographic. This is the silver version of Halycon (with added holo). It is really smooth and easy to apply, and nicely opaque. It is slightly sheer on the first coat, but builds up perfectly with a second. It also dries completely smooth. This is more of grey-toned silver than a bright white silver. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Star Child' is a blue tinted base full of blue shimmer, shifting metallic copper glitters, and small holographic microglitters. This is a bit sheer at first, but is easy to apply and builds up nicely. The second coat covers much better, and a third brings it fully opaque. The glitters dry slightly raised so I would suggest topcoat to smooth them out. Below is three coats with topcoat.

'Crystal Tokyo' is a sheer base full of different colours of irridescent glitter in small circles, medium hexes, and medium diamonds. This is still quite sheer on it's own after three coats, so I decided to use it as a topper. Over a white base it retains all of the colours seen in the bottle (pink, purple, orange etc). Below is one coat with topcoat over white.

Over black, it really transforms - I'll let you see for youself! Below is one coat with topcoat over black.

'Vaporwave' is a royal blue base with a strong pink shift, and super fine holographic. The formula is so smooth and easy to apply. The first coat is slightly sheer, but it applies evenly. A second coat covers completely. The pink shift in this translates really well to the nail. Below is two coats and topcoat.

'Memedom' is a turquoise base with a strong copper shift, and the same super fine holographic. Like 'Vaporwave' the formula is very smooth, applies evenly, and covers completely in two easy coats. Again, the shift translates nicely onto the nail. Below is two coats and topcoat.

Lastly, here is a quick look of the old style bottles and boxes next to the new ones. The bottles are exactly the same shape and size, but with different labels. The boxes are also the same size but updated.

What do you think? Aren't they gorgeous?! There's definitely some must haves in here! I'm finding it very hard to pick a favourite. 'Shiny' is going to be very popular based on it's similarity with Halycon, but I have fallen in love with both 'Vaporwave' and 'Memedom' - the shifts in both of them are stunning! I've done a gradient of the two together, which I shall be posting on my Instagram soon.
