Hello! Today I'm back with my mani for December's 'No Place Like Home' MeeBox. If you missed my unboxing and swatches of the Wizard of Oz inspired box, you can find my post here. I absolutely loved the theme and had so many nail art ideas. I wanted to use all of the items we recieved, so decided to go for a mix and match design. Read on to find out more!

I painted my pointer and middle fingers with two coats of Leighton Denny 'Jailbird' (for the emerald city). I sponged Kure Bazaar 'Pigalle' onto my pinky finger to look like Dorothy's ruby slippers. On my ring
finger I applied one of the
NCLA Gingham nail wraps
- and I was impressed
! I don't have much experience with nail wraps so
created bubbles and creases, but they were so easy to smooth out
. The
y are
petite, ultra thin wraps which I think made it easier.

To add my yellow brick road, I made decals. I stamped the brick road pattern from the MoYou London Fairytale Plate (plate 12) onto my mini UberChic mat using Hit The Bottle 'As Black As Night'. I roughly coloured them in using Zoya 'Goldie' before topcoating and leaving them to dry. I then carefully peeled them up and placed them onto my pointer and middle fingers, sealing them with topcoat to complete my mani.

What do you think? I'm very happy with the final look! It definitely says Wizard of Oz, at least to me! I'm not ashamed to say I sang about following the yellow brick road the whole time I was working my magic. I'm also proud when I manage to use every item from a month's box in my mani. I'm tempted to do another one with all of these goodies!

Hope to see you in the next post!
