Hi everyone. For those who don't know, the wonderfully talented Ane Li (@ane_li) sadly passed on July 11th. To pay our respects, and as a tribute, those inspired by Ane have come together today to recreate some of her gorgeous artwork - under the hashtag #sharingtheloveforaneli. Here is my recreation. Read on for more info and for a look at Ane Li's original design.

For my recreation, I followed Ane's video tutorial (on Instagram here), using Pretty Serious 'Presence' (white) and 'Absence' (black). I sealed it all in with a quick dry topcoat before adding matte topcoat to avoid smudges - although I still managed some slight smudging!

Although my recreation may not be perfect, I am so happy I had the chance to show my respect for Ane Li. My thoughts go out to all of her friends and family, and everyone else affected. I have met so many lovely people through the nail community - and I honestly don't know where I'd be without them.
