Helloo! Today I have a gorgeous polish from ORLY to show you. I've been a little bit obsessed with ORLY recently, I'm not sure what it is but I love them! They are fairly hard to find, but every so often one will pop up in my TKMaxx. I recently came across 'Lemonade', and I love a good yellow so I had to pick it up. Read on for swatches and more info!
'Lemonade' is a bright pastel yellow creme. It was very smooth and easy to apply, and has a fantastic formula for a yellow. The first coat was a bit streaky and it did have some slight streaks on the second, but these evened out as it dried. I did add a thin third coat although it wasn't really necessary. Below is three coats and topcoat.
My camera kept trying to adjust this to a neon yellow, so please excuse the weird colour of my fingers. The second picture is more colour accurate.

What do you think? I love love love this! It is definitely a pastel yellow but is so bright when it catches the light. I wore it for a good 5 days without any sign of chipping or tip wear, and I really did not want to take it off. I'm going to be putting it on my toes very soon, just so I can have it on for longer.

DeleteI love a great yellow myself and i still have to find a good one, but i'm not in a flat spin to find one right away, since it Winter here so i'm more prone to wear darker colours at the moment.

DeleteOrly is definitely up there in my favorite brands. Some of their collections are to die for and most all have at least one I need!
