Hi lovelies! Today I have two Opulent Essences polishes to share with you. They are both reformulations and improvements on older shades with the same names - 'Raspberry Ripple' and 'Bitches Brew'. Now it's getting warmer I'm definitely feeling brighter shades, so I was happy to see these in my little box of goodies from Sharon. As always, read on for full swatches and more info! |

'Raspberry Ripple' is a slightly dusky pink holographic. The formula is very easy to apply. It goes on a bit patchy on the first coat but is fully opaque after two. I did add a thin third coat to cover some slight bald spots and deepen the colour, but it wasn't really necessary. Below is three thin coats and topcoat.
This is a lot pinker than the older version of 'Raspberry Ripple', swatched here.

'Bitches Brew' is a vibrant purple holographic. It has a very similar formula to 'Raspberry Ripple', except being a little bit more opaque. It fully covered in two coats, but again I added a third just to deepen the colour slightly. The third coat made far less difference with this one. Below is three thin coats and topcoat.

What do you think? I am loving both of these! They have such a smooth, sparkly finish. I can't believe I'm saying this as I always go for pink, but I think 'Bitches Brew' is my favourite! It is an absolutely gorgeous shade of purple and I didn't want to take it off.
