Helloo! Today I have some quick stamping to show you. I haven't stamped properly in a while, and I've been meaning to get back into it. When I swatched OPI 'My Pal Joey' last week (post here), I instantly thought it would be perfect to stamp over. I decided to go for a simple geometric design stamped using holographic silver. As always, read on to find out more!
I started off with my base of OPI 'My Pal Joey' from the Hello Kitty Collection. It is a gorgeous bold blue, is nice and opaque, and does not stain my nails. Below is two easy coats and topcoat.

For my stamping, I used a geometric triangle pattern at the bottom right of UberChic plate 2-01. I bought my first lot of UberChic plates a few months back, but have to admit this is the first time I've tried one out. I had absolutely no problems picking up my chosen pattern and can't wait to try some more.
(Apologies for the dodgy plate picture, I was trying to focus on the one pattern.)
I stamped the left side of the pattern, with 'empty' triangles, on all nails except my ring finger. On my ring finger I used the right side with filled triangles for some contrast. To stamp, I used Esmaltes Da Kelly ultra holographic 'Andromeda' (swatched here) and my MoYou London XL squishy stamper. I then finished with a coat of quick dry topcoat.
What do you think? The stamping is quite subtle, but I quite like it. It really glistens in the sun. The pattern reminds me a bit of spider webs - hopefully I'll remember that nearer Halloween! I've said this a few times recently but I really do want to keep up with doing more nail art - I'll hopefully have some more up over the next few weeks.
