My Handiwork Polish - Villain Varnishes Collection

*Press Sample*
Hello! Today's post is a very exciting one! I have swatches of UK Indie My Handiwork Polish's very first collection to share with you. The lovely Jasmine sent me these at a discounted price in exchange for my review. The Villain Varnish Collection consists of four polishes based on comic book villains. These were originally released as a Halloween collection, but are currently all still available. Read on for full swatches and more info!

'Magneto' is a silver base full of silver hexes, circles, and bars, and holographic silver microglitter. It is very glitter dense so the formula is a bit thick, although still easily manageable. It applied a bit sheer on the first coat but surprisingly covered fully with two. It does dry down textured which I quite like! Below is two coats and topcoat.

'Green Goblin' is a pearly metallic green with holographic green microglitter. Again the formula is slightly thick but still easy to work with, and is easily opaque in two coats. This is a lot less textured than 'Magneto' but you still might want a thicker topcoat to smooth it out. Below is two coats and topcoat.

'The Riddler' is a clear base packed full of metallic purple hexes, matte black hexes, and matte green squares. One dip of the brush gives a good coverage, even on my long nails. It does take a little bit of manipulation to spread the glitters out evenly as they tend to clump together at first. Below is one coat and topcoat over Sally Hansen 'White On'.

'Loki' is a black jelly base with holographic green microglitter and gold shards. I was advised to use this over black polish for the best results. It applied smoothly with a good even coverage. It dries slightly textured but a quick topcoat smooths everything out. Below is one coat and topcoat over Pretty Serious 'Absence'.

What do you think? I really like them all! They are all so glitter dense that you don't need a silly amount of coats for coverage. I didn't have a problem with any of the formulas, and wore each polish for at least 24 hours with no chipping or staining. I can't wait to see what Jasmine comes up with in the future!

You can find all four of these over at My Handiwork Polish's etsy store here

Hope to see you in the next post!
