Hello! Today's post is my unboxing of May's MeeBox (see April's Hitched box here). This month the theme is RiRiMee, based around singer Rihanna. When I heard the theme I imagined reds, blacks, and lots of pointy studs. I couldn't have been more on track as here is what we received. The lovely MeeBox ladies got carried away and treated us to 6 items instead of 5. Read on for a closer look at everything inside!
The first polish to catch my eye was Danglefoot Nail Polish 'Higitis Figitis', a gorgeous black holographic. I am obsessed with Danglefoot's recently so couldn't be happier with this. It is a perfect Rihanna polish. Plus who doesn't love a good UK indie?!
Next up is Zoya satin 'Leah', a soft grey nude. I can't say this is really my colour but I was super excited to receive a Zoya polish. This would be a gorgeous base for nail art, even if the colour on it's own doesn't suit me.
Our third polish is WAH London 'Love My Team', a classic red creme. I haven't tried this brand before which is always fun! I have heard really good things about the formula from other MeeBox subscribers, so I'll have to test it myself soon.
This month we also received a 'Nail Envy' nail strengthener from OPI. I've never used this but will definitely give it a go. The mini bottle is super cute, and holds more than enough to test how the product works for you.
Last up are some cuticle tattoos from RAD Nails and pointy nail studs from Sparkly Nails. Both of these items scream Rihanna and will help create the perfect RiRi mani.
What do you think? These were definitely the sort of items I was expecting for the theme, and I can't wait to have a play! I even have a look in mind using all three polishes this month - I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't done that for a while!
