Hello! Sorry that I've been posting slightly less than normal - work is hectic during April so I've not had as much time for my nails! Today I have swatches of two Opulent Essences polishes to share with you. In a recent haul I purchased both 'Booboo' and 'Golden Flake', and thought they would look perfect together! Read on for full swatches and more info!
This is also my 100th blog post - woop!
'Booboo' is a bright vibrant blue with a strong pearly shimmer (which I love!). The formula is so smooth and easy to work with. It was sheer on the first coat but built up well and was opaque in three. Due to the shimmer there are slight brush strokes, although nothing too noticeable. Below is three coats and topcoat.

'Golden Flake' is, as the name suggests, a golden flake topper. I've wanted something like this for ages so I was so happy when this was released. It has surprisingly good coverage in one coat, and spreads out really evenly. All of the flakes also seem to lie down smoothly. Below is one coat and topcoat over a base of 'Booboo'.

What do you think? I think they go really well together, but I also want to try 'Golden Flake' over black, or a darker colour. I am yet to come across an Opulent Essences polish that I don't love, so I think it was fitting to have some as my 100th post!
