March Nailbox - Easter

Hello everyone! Today I have March's Nailbox unboxing for you (see February's Retro box here). This months box is Easter themed, and was delivered just in time for the Easter weekend itself. Here is what we received. Read on for a closer look at everything inside!

First this month is a vibrant burgundy MoYou London stamping polish. I can't seem to find a name except 'MNP001' (looking at their website it looks like 'XOXO'). I love MoYou London so I was happy to see this in my box! I don't have any similar colours of stamping polish so it will definitely come in handy - although I would consider it much more of a fall shade.

EDIT - Someone has mentioned to me that this may be a normal polish and not a stamping polish, but as it has no name I'm not sure. If anyone knows, please leave a comment below!

Next up is Invogue Matt Suede 'Emerald Dust', a green full of silver shimmer. I have seen this brand on Fragrance Direct (for 99p each) but this will be the first time I've tried their polish. It looks like a nice colour and I'm curious to see the matt suede effect.

The last polish this month is Eye Candy London 'Naughty But Nice', a soft lilac. I didn't quite get round to using the Eye Candy London polish in last months box as a lot of reviews mentioned it was very sheer. Hopefully this one will be better and I'll be pleasantly surprised!

Moving onto extras/treatments, we received a bottle of Nails Inc Express Nail Polish Remover. I've always been intrigued by these 'dip pots', and I am loving the neon pink! I was tempted to stick a nail in and try it at work but I didn't want to ruin my manicure. It is also acetone free which I think a lot of people will appreciate.

The last item in our Easter box was a packet of Elegant Touch press-on nails in the 'Speckled Eggs' design. Although I do love the design (I actually have speckled nails right now), these are way too small and short for my nails so I won't be able to use them.

What do you think of March's box? I have to be honest, I'm not really feeling the theme. I was expecting a box full of pastels or bright colours. Without the Elegant Touch Speckled Egg nails I wouldn't think of Easter. Is it just me? That being said, I am looking forward to trying out a couple of the items we received.

If you want to find out more about Nailbox, head over to their website here.

Hope to see you in the next post!

  1. Have to say bah the mo polish, which is a standard one of theirs, this is a very bland collection?? And why give nail polish lovers false nails,, I've never understood that one?? They would have been better giving stickers,

A very disappointing mailbox in my views

    1. Yep I don't really understand it either! Especially giving us the shortest ones x

  2. I say that the only thing I wouldn't use of these items are the press on nails. Other than that it looks like a nice box.

    1. They do look like nice items, they just don't really fit the theme! x

  3. It's definitely not the most cohesive sub box I've ever seen and there isn't any information online or in the box about the items?? Too bad my fav thing are the fake nails which I wouldn't wear :-/

    1. There's not really been much info for previous boxes, but they used to fit the themes much better so I didn't mind! Yep me too! Such a nice design but useless to me :( x

  4. I agree with you on the theme, it's definitely lacking. I do like how they have a variety of different products. It would of been better if they offered you decals or nail wraps instead of press on nails.

    1. If they were more springy/eastery colours I probably would be happy! Definitely agree that wraps or decals would have been so much better x

  5. This was a great idea, but I'm with you that the product offerings weren't what I expected. Fabulous review regardless. :-)
