Helloo! Today I have some nail art to share with you. While wearing Colors By Llarowe's 'Young Turks' (swatched/reviewed here), the colour reminded me of a pair of Dr Martens boots I had when I was younger. They were bright blue and covered in white and yellow daisies. I decided to recreate a similar pattern on my nails using Young Turks as my base - here is the finished look. Read on to find out more!

I can't quite remember if my boots had yellow daisies with white centres, or white daises with yellow centres. As I wanted to stamp and don't actually have a proper yellow stamping polish, I decided to go with white daisies (plus real ones are white so it seemed the right way to go). To stamp I used all MoYou London products - their 'White Knight' stamping polish, squishy rectangular stamper, and stamping plate Pro 21.

The design I used is the last but one on the bottom row. I absolutely love the simplicity of the flowers - I think it's actually my most used stamping image. I stamped on both my middle finger and ring finger.
(Apologies for my 'in-progress' picture being poor quality - I tend to do my nails in the evenings when it's dark!)
After stamping, I used a dotting tool to add yellow to the centre of each daisy. I used Nails Inc 'Seven Dials' (swatched here), a gorgeous bright sunflower yellow. I used a fairly large dotting tool for a nice bold splash of colour. I waited a few minutes (as to not smudge the dots) before adding a topcoat to seal in the design and bring everything together.

Looking at the finished pattern, it's not quite as wacky as I remember my shoes to be. Maybe it was yellow flowers! Either way, I absolutely love it. I think the colour combination works quite well together - it's fun! I'd love to hear what you think in the comments below!
