October Nailbox - Autumn

Hi lovelies! This month has gone so fast. It doesn't feel like it was long ago that I was showing you Septembers nailbox, and now I have Octobers! This months box has an Autumn theme full of 'warming hues'. Read on to see what's inside!

Inside this months box are three polishes, some quick dry drops, and a nail care item from elegant touch.

As always, I'll start with the three polishes themselves and then move on to the rest. This month we received Rimmel 'Caramel Cupcake', Essie 'Summit of Style', and Nails Inc Gel Effect 'Kensington High Street'.

Rimmel 'Caramel Cupcake' - I have to say I'm not a massive fan of this one. It does fit the theme and I'm sure other people will love it but I'm just not one for nudes. I don't get the whole 'Mannequin Hand' thing - If I'm wearing polish I want it to be obvious. That being said I will probably still get a lot of use out of this for nail art. Or maybe as a base for stamping. We will have to wait and see!

 

Essie 'Summit of Style' - From Essie's Lux Effects line. You can't go wrong with a nice chunky glitter! I don't actually have many gold glitters. I also like how this is more of bronze. I already have 'A Cut Above' (the pink version) so I know I'll love it.

 

Nails Inc 'Kensington High Street' - This is my favourite this month. I've been really appreciating dark vampy colours this Autumn. I think this the third nails inc gel effect polish I've received from nailbox so far, and I'm loving them! It also took me way too long to realise you could pull off the caps...

Now for the rest of the goodies! First up are some quick drying drops from Nicole by OPI.

This is my first Nicole by OPI product. I do have some other quick dry drops but I've never got round to using them. After discovering Seche Vite quick dry topcoat I haven't had a problem with wet nails. Plus it does say to use after topcoat, so it's kind of an extra step. I will still try these and see what happens!

Last up is a pair of nail scissors from elegant touch.

All of the elegant touch items I've received in past boxes are always super high quality - these are no different. I've been using a pair of nail scissors from a manicure set my mum bought my boyfriend for Christmas. It'll be nice to have my own proper pair!

Overall I'm impressed once again by nailbox. They are such good value for money and I love the surprise of getting a goody box each month. I think my first mani from this months box will be a combination of Nails Inc 'Kensington High Street' and Essie 'Summit of Style'.
