I told myself I wouldn't do any Halloween designs until the 1st October, and the day is finally here! A few weeks ago Kirsty over at Fairytale Nails created some green slime nails (post here). I never would have thought of using a blood drip design to look like slime! Using her mani as inspiration, here's what I came up with. Read on for more info and to see how I did it!

Instead of stamping, I decided to use my blood drip nail vinyls from She Sells Seashells. These were included in the Halloween Trick or Treat Goody box, which I previously reviewed here. I placed one on a short way down each nail except my ring finger. I added a coat of True Brit London's 'Taxi Cab' and immediately removed the vinyls before adding topcoat.

For the face I used a pumpkin face decal - also from my She Sells Seashells Halloween box. I picked out a nice creepy face and simply placed it onto my nail. After sealing it in with topcoat, my slime monster was finished! Say hello!

What do you think of my first Halloween design of the year? I'm looking forward to a month of spooky manicures. Let me know if you're planning any nail art, or what colours you'll be wearing for the month of October.
