Recap of Halloween 2015 Designs

Hello again! I wouldn't normally post twice in one day but as it's Halloween I had to make an exception. I wanted to show you my nails for the day (see my previous post here) but also wanted to do a quick recap of all the fun and spooky designs I've done throughout the month. Read on for full pictures and links to the main blog post for each design.

Halloween R.I.P Nails - China Glaze 'Don't Let The Dead Bite'

Happy Halloween! I've been enjoying Halloween designs all month and I'm a bit sad that the day itself is here already. On the plus side, all of the ideas I have left can be used next year so I won't have to repeat designs. I've managed to squeeze in one final spooky mani for today. As always, read on for more info!

Halloween Candy Corn Gradient

Hello lovelies! Today I have something a bit brighter, while still sticking to the Halloween theme. I've been loving all of the candy corn inspired nail art over on Instagram, and thought I'd recreate some myself. Being from the UK I've never tried candy corn, but I didn't let that stop me! Read on for to find out more.

China Glaze - Getting To Gnaw You

Hi, sorry it's been a while! I was away in Leeds for the weekend and came back ill. I haven't even wanted to do my nails (horrifying, I know!). I finally sat down to do them yesterday. I dug out the China Glaze Apocalypse of Colour collection (Halloween 2014) and opted for a simple swatch of 'Getting To Gnaw You'. As always, read on for more info!

XL Marshmallow Stamper Comparison - MoYou London vs. eBay Unbranded

Hello lovelies! Today I'm going to be doing a quick comparison of two stampers. A friend of mine showed me an eBay listing for an XL marshmallow stamper for only £1.99. I decided to get one to compare to my MoYou London XL marshmallow sticky stamper - I paid £9.99 (including two stamper heads). Read on to see how they stamp!

Love Me Beauty Unboxing - Lottie London Polishes

Hello lovelies! Today I am unboxing my first Love Me Beauty box. I'm not normally interested in beauty boxes as I don't wear make-up. But Love Me Beauty differs from normal subscription boxes - they let you choose your own items. After checking out their boutique and finding nail polish, I was convinced. Read on to find out more and see what items I chose!

Halloween Splatter Nails

Hello! I've got another fun Halloween design for you all today. I had so much fun when I did my crime scene/murder mystery nails (post here) that I wanted to recreate something similar. I decided to do a simple splatter design with several Halloween colours over a black base.

Halloween Splatter Mani @acertainbeccaa
I did consider doing a white base to make sure the splattered colours would show up, but I don't think it would look as Halloweeny - and I felt the contrast against the black might actually make the bright colours stand out more. Read on for more info and to see each stage!

Pink Ombre Gradient

Starting a blog really has inspired me to experiment a lot more with nail art. I've been wanting to do a proper gradient for a while. I tried quickly on one nail nearly a year and a half ago and never again since - until today. Being Breast Cancer Awareness month, I went with a pink ombre look. Read on to find out more!

Halloween Slime Monster Mani

I told myself I wouldn't do any Halloween designs until the 1st October, and the day is finally here! A few weeks ago Kirsty over at Fairytale Nails created some green slime nails (post here). I never would have thought of using a blood drip design to look like slime! Using her mani as inspiration, here's what I came up with. Read on for more info and to see how I did it!
